The self-guided, half mile trail winds through productive fruit gardens past sculptures made by 40 different artists.
For the third time, the Fiberistas were chosen from among hundreds of applicants to make a site specific outdoor sculpture. For this 2025 installation we installed a group of 7 trellises transformed in various ways with fabrics, ropes, twine, and yarn using hundreds of fiber techniques. There is a 25 foot crocheted snake, an underwater scene complete with starfish and coral, a collection of real and imagined caterpillars in a scene with fanciful mushrooms, an archway with thousands of tiny pennants that rustles in the wind, a pair of polka dotted elephants that are ridden by monkeys, Irish lace made with nylon cord, and and arch of colorful characters in a traveling circus that entertain every passerby.
